Welcome to the website of Dr Michael Chamberlain, which has been created to provide an an insight into his life. In recent years Michael has been actively involved in the the local community of Lake Macquarie where he is resident with his wife Ingrid, and daughter Zahra. Since 2003 Michael has been teaching History and English in an Aboriginal community in country New South Wales, and he has also been presiding over the community's Rugby Union club. This has given Michael a renewed appreciation for the challenges facing indigenous communities in Australia. |

Dr Michael Chamberlain's fourth book, Heart of Stone, is close to publication and will be available in all good book stores sometime in July. This will be "an iconic book", substantial in text, well documented, easy to read and guaranteed to shock. To be published in hard back by the international publisher's New Holland, Heart of Stone will market for around $39.95 AUD. It will contain an abundance of photographs, many unpublished, as well as an index, glossary of people and a timeline. The publishers have indicated that the book will be translated. Available Now
