Welcome to the website of Dr Michael Chamberlain, which has been created to provide an an insight into his life. In recent years Michael has been actively involved in the the local community of Lake Macquarie where he is resident with his wife Ingrid, and nine-year-old daughter Zahra. Since 2003 Michael has been teaching History and English in an Aboriginal community in country New South Wales, and he has also been presiding over the community's Rugby Union club. This has given Michael a renewed appreciation for the challenges facing indigenous communities in Australia. |
